So, I'm back at work today after a WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC, SUPERFUN vacation in LA. We left last Wednesday and returned home yesterday afternoon. I have tons of pictures but since I'm running short on time today, here is a list of some of the fun things we did/ate/saw:*ate at the original Bob's Big Boy
*went to a taping of the Ellen Show - it aired on 5/15/09 & you could see us a couple of times!
*visited Universal Studio's CityWalk
*ate at Bubba Gump's Shrimp - I had some fantastic "shrimp new orleans" - yum yum!
*went on an AWESOME VIP tour of the Warner Bros. lot - pictures to come!
*ate at the FAMOUS Pink's hot dogs
*visited the Santa Monica Pier & 3rd Street Promenade
*ate at California Pizza Kitchen & visited 'Yummy Cupcakes'
*bought an awesome CD from a street performer on the 3rd street promenade
*went to the harbor at Dana Point & loved the squirrels that lived in the rocks
*finally had an in-n-out burger
*saw Troy's great grandma - she's 96!
*had some awesome chips & salsa at Anita's
*went to the long beach aquarium & touched sting rays & sharks - eek!
*toured the Queen Mary (think Titanic size ship!)
*had an awesome time with Troy's great aunt
*enjoyed driving around in Sunny, our awesome 2 door BRIGHT yellow chevy cobalt
*had great luck with catching the flights we needed, even though we were standby
*experienced a 4.7 earthquake sunday night - super cool!
we had an AWESOME time - the weather was great, we didn't get stuck in too much horrendous traffic and enjoyed doing all our tourist-y things! more pictures to come!
